Using a centuries-old method called throwing off the hump, you’ll learn how to shape multiple small pieces (like cups or bowls) from one large mound of clay. This smart, efficient approach makes centering easier, reduces waste, and lets you focus on the fun part—creating forms that feel good in your hands.
Over the course of this three-hour, hands-on workshop, you’ll:

He began his journey in the classroom as a middle school ceramics teacher and has since taught learners of all ages.
